Accessing Your Learning Log
There are three access points to your learning log:
1. From the OCA Spaces homepage (spaces.oca.ac.uk) hover your cursor over the profile icon located in the upper right corner and select the 'My Sites' option from the dropdown menu, as shown in the screenshot below.
On the following page you'll find a list of your sites and upon selecting one, you'll be directed to your learning log homepage.
2. From any page within OCA Spaces, you can hover over the 'My Sites' option located in the upper-left corner. Hovering your cursor over your learning log title will reveal further options and you can select either:
-

-
- Visit Site - Selecting this option will direct you to your learning log homepage.
- Dashboard - Selecting this option will direct you to the WordPress Dashboard.

-
3. You may also access your learning log by entering the domain name (URL) in the address bar of your web browser; this will always follow the same format - spaces.oca.ac.uk/yoursitenamehere. You may wish to bookmark this address for quick access. See the How can I bookmark a webpage using Google Chrome? article for more information.
Sharing Your Learning Log
During your studies there will be several instances where you'll need to provide a link to your learning log, for example, when submitting an assignment or sharing your work with your peers.
After accessing your learning log, as outlined above, you will need to copy the entire URL from the address bar at the top of your web browser, as shown in the screenshot below.
If you wish to provide a link to a specific post on your learning log, ensure you first select the post from your homepage to view it and copy the unique URL, as shown in the screenshot below.
Links to pages within the WordPress Dashboard identifiable by '/wp-admin' in the URL, will be inaccessible to anyone other than yourself, so shouldn't be shared with other users.
Remember that you can copy and paste using keyboard shortcuts.
Windows: To copy press 'Ctrl-C', then paste using 'Ctrl-V'.
Mac: To copy press 'Command-C', then paste using 'Command-V'.
