Bookmarking a webpage will allow you to pin sites and specific pages to make them easier to find the next time you need to access them. To create a bookmark, you will simply need to select the star icon (☆) visible to the right of the address bar, as highlighted in the screenshot below.
A pop-up will appear enabling you to choose where the bookmark will be created - the default location is the 'Bookmarks bar'. You can also choose to add a bookmark to an existing folder from the 'Folder' dropdown, or select 'Choose another folder...' if you wish to create a new one.
If the bookmarks bar isn't visible in Google Chrome, select the 3 dot icon located at the top-right of your web browser, followed by 'Bookmarks and lists' and 'Show bookmarks bar'. Alternatively, use the keyboard shortcut by pressing 'Ctrl + Shift + B'. You should now see the webpages you have bookmarked below the address bar.
