Important Note: Students studying Foundations or Short courses are unable to access the OU Library, instead, please consult the Foundation & Personal Development Students section of the OCA Library course that explains what resources are available to you.
Prior to starting your studies with OCA, you should have received an email to your personal email address that contains your OU Library login details; this email is issued directly from The Open University around 2 weeks before your start date.
To login you will require your OUCU and password from this email, so if you haven't received these details, contact the OU Computing Help Desk by emailing ou-computing-helpdesk@open.ac.uk to request them.
Follow the steps below to sign in:
1. Navigate to the OU Library - www5.open.ac.uk/library/.
2. Select 'Sign in' located in the top-right, as shown in the screenshot below.
3. Enter your OUCU in the 'Username' field, followed by your password in the 'Password' field below.
4. Select the pink 'Sign in' button and you should now have access to the library. If you encounter any errors or issues signing in using the details provided by The Open University, contact the OU Computing Help Desk by emailing ou-computing-helpdesk@open.ac.uk.
