To allows visitors of your learning log to click on an image to enlarge it, follow the ste-by-step guide below. You will need to repeat this process for all 'Gallery' and 'Image' blocks that you insert into a post to enable image enlargement.
1. Insert a 'Gallery' block into your post - although a 'Gallery' block is intended for use with multiple images, there is no downside to using it to display a single image. You can follow this guidance using an 'Image' block if you would prefer.
2. Insert your image(s) into the 'Gallery' or 'Image' block and then select the block. If using the 'Gallery' block you will need to ensure that you have selected the entire block and not an individual image.
If for any reason you’re unable to select the ‘Gallery’ block, you can use the ‘List View’ option by selecting the 'Document Overview' icon, as shown in the screenshot below. This will display each block in a list in the left-hand viewing pane that can be selected directly.
3. With the 'Gallery' block selected, select the 'Link' icon followed by 'Link images to media files', as shown in the screenshot below.
If you have used an 'Image' block, select the 'Link' icon followed by 'Link to image file'.
When clicked by visitors to your learning log, your images will now direct to the original source image in its native resolution.
