Self Service Accessibility File Conversion
Accessing the Accessibility File Conversion Page on OCA Learn will enable you to request any text-based document, web page or self-written text be converted to an alternative format.
To use the tool, either upload your file, paste a link to a web page or manually enter text. Next, select your preferred format - audio, braille or eBook - followed by any specific format options.
Once complete, enter your OCA Email Address and select the 'Submit' option. The converted format will be delivered to your OCA Email Address when it has finished processing.
Read Aloud
Available from any page, course or activity, you can request text to be read aloud at various playback speeds.
To begin, highlight up to 500 words and select the 'Text to Speech' icon located in the bottom-left, as shown in the screenshot below, followed by ‘Process Audio’.
Once processed, you can then start the audio playback by selecting 'Play'. You can adjust the playback speed by selecting the 'Kebab' menu (three-dot icon), followed by 'Playback Speed' and selecting your preferred option.
This process can be repeated as many times as required, but please note the audio playback will be stopped if you navigate away from the page.
